Everything you’ve heard about Ireland is true. It is, in a word, green. The scenery is beautiful, with rolling hills, shimmering lakes, and abandoned castles filling the landscape all across the country. Living here does not get old, and every day is a new adventure among all the sights and sounds.

There is also a lot about Ireland, however, that you probably haven’t heard about. The cities in which students will be studying in are like gigantic college towns. Galway, for one, is distinctly designed to accommodate the students. The city is small, but packed to the brim with things to do. Every night, at all hours of the night, the center square is jam-packed with college students milling about, just having been released from a nearby pub or club.

There are other great places to travel around the country, as well. Cities such as Cork, Dublin, and Kerry are old-fashioned and yet surprisingly modern. Wherever you go in Ireland you feel as though you are at home, and that everyone here welcomes you. There is more history than can be seen even in a full four-month semester, and more culture than can be experienced in a lifetime.

I would definitely recommend studying abroad in Ireland, and if not, I would implore visiting there while abroad in another country.

I met lots of cool people from England. Over there it rains alot and its colder than it is here. You also have to learn some words they use alot like bloody, mum, and mate. Everyone there is cool and they party hard. Like if you think you know how to party they will show u up. They are allowed to drink in the bars when they are 18 and some places even younger, so if you go there you have 2 be ready for that. They also call school diferent things. I forget but i think college is like high school for them. They have a diferent system. Im still tryin 2 find sum1 from there who lives in a castle, but i haven’t yet. Maybe you can go there for high school, then come back here to go to Nova. Some of my best internet friends live there and they have alot of fun there.

If I went anywhere iId go there. I have lots of friends i met on the internet from there and they are nice people. This one chick has grandparents who raise kangeroos on a farm! So if you want to see somewhere else that is a neat place to go I would definitely recommend Australia. Perfect study abroad opportunity.
