Class taken: Themes in Modern World History
Pretty boring class, he just lectures for the entire class and the tests are confusing because he never really tells you what is gonna be on them.

Class taken: Romantic Revolutions

Dr. Tomko is a great professor. He is proficient in the subject at hand, and knows how to make the topics interesting and accesible to the students. He is soft spoken, and understanding. The course is heavily weighted with reading, but it is an English course, so that is understandable. With that, writing is also a huge part. I enjoy both reading and writing so the class was a dream for me. He is an awesome guy, and is probably my favorite teacher so far this semester. I plan on taking a course of his again in the future.

Class taken: Logic and Critical Thinking

TAKE THIS CLASS! He's a nice guy. Make sure you keep up with the work. Three tests, all online, open book. Do it. Even if you don't need it, it's a good gpa booster.

Class taken: Developmental Psychology
This class was the easiest class at Villanova. There were reading quizzes everyday but if you read they are so easy. There are also three tests that are non cummulative and if you read the text book they tests are a joke. They are normally 50 multiple choice questions. If you want an easy A take this class.

Class taken: Christianity In History

Father Loya is such an amazing professor. He can be a little slow at times but over-all he is rather upbeat. If you read the short readings he hands out and take notes you will do really well. There is a midterm and a final and he gives you a study guide before both of them. There is also one paper but if you go to him for help/guidance and work hard it's well worth it!! TAKE HIM!

Class taken: Research Methods

It's true. He's not a great lecturer. The class is very dry and the labs suck. You really can't do too much about that though since it's a required class. This is one you'll just have to deal with.

Class taken: Research Methods

Brown is just terrible. All he talks about is his experiments and how hes a genius, which he is, i have no doubts that he is bright. BUT his personality is terrible, he speaks in a monotone voice and makes a boring class MORE boring. Hes terrible avoid at all costs if u can.

Besides the fact that the dorm is all girls, this dorm was pretty decent. The rooms are pretty generous and the bathrooms are usually kept pretty clean. If you don't mind having all girl friends and the strict no opposite sex policy actually enforced, I'd recommend Caughlin.

Class taken: Literary Experience

I would highly recommend this class to anyone who enjoys reading and discussing literature. Bader is an extremely intelligent man and though he demands a good deal, in the end it is worth it. The papers are not easy but the quality of his instruction, if you go to class, make them extremely mangeable. You get to read authors that are not extremely main stream and if you take this class with an open mind and positive attitude should do really well.
